Would you like to be a Medical Assistant?

Would you like to become a Medical Assistant?  As you may know I am currently studying to be an aspiring medical assistant. I am gaining my Associates first. I have decided to get my associates in occupational science to improve my chances on landing myself the said career I have in mind. “Employment of medical assistants is projected to grow 29 percent from 2012 to 2022, much faster than the average for all occupations.” stated by the bureau of labor statistics. Having a degree in the healthcare field is nothing but endless opportunity.  There is always a high demand in the healthcare field for medical assistants, its nothing but a gainful opportunity to obtain your certification. The demand is so high for medical assistants due to, “technological advances, the predicted surge of clinics and offices opening and the growing number of elderly americans who need medical treatment”, as said by the American Associates of Medical Assisting.

Our obstacles as job seekers.

My blog is mostly about trying to connect people with the industry I will potentially work for. This week I will be speaking in terms of us instead of me.  Many people right now struggle with unemployment. Unemployment is not only a financial burden, but also a confidence crusher.  Whether its family issues, medical issues or just not getting a break, everybody realistically goes through obstacles when seeking a good career. Each one of us being job seekers should remain positive and keep trying. Its not until we give up that we fail. My blog is dedicated to advancing careers, and beginning them. Always be open to improve yourself. Set goals, and then set goals even higher than that. If you achieve these career goals and surprise even yourself, imagine what future employers will see. My words this week are words of encouragement and understanding. Everyone struggles, only those who have the drive will succeed. When you interview with potential employers act as though the interview is the most important one you’ll ever have. If you go in over prepared, and confident you may just surprise the employer and yourself.

Aspiring Medical Assistant

I am currently an aspiring medical assistant. I am taking coursework to complete my Associates in applied science first, then will get my certification as a medical assistant. I am very ambitious in my goal. I have a family so juggling children and school is a challenge I am glad to accept. Gaining my associates and medical certification is my ultimate goal in order to land the career i want. My children are my definite motivation to become a better person in life. I already have my CNA certification, so I am already familiar with patient care. I have administrative medical assistant training as well as a MAT certification. I am the type of person who is always looking to improve on personal skills. I believe that my achievements and skills have yet to be recognized. I will not give up on my goal, despite being overlooked. I am going to stay focused on my goal of becoming a successful Medical Assistant.
